Unicorns are exclusive creatures added to the PC/Mac version of the game only. They come with level 10 racing and jumping skills (if adopted, don't breed them till they grow up) and many powers which can be used at Sims will. They can: Teleport, Bless fauna, Curse fauna, bless/curse plants and Sims/pets, ignite and extinguish fire. They have 60 magical points. each power uses up some of those points. They get the 'power shortage' when at half-way and 'power failure' when have no power left. to 'refuel', let the unicorn, well, be a unicorn. Relax.

   Find three household pets, they must be major pets (horse, unicorn, cat or dog) as minor pets ( turtle, fish, bird, lizard, snake or rodent) don't count.

   Unicorns appear only between 8pm and 5am only - so every night go to map view and 'spy' on both fishing lots or a science center (Cinnamon Falls and the water plant) at the same time from 8pm till 5am.

   Keep doing so until a glowing dust cloud forms over a fishing lot. Underneath that is a unicorn.

   Having the relationship with your pets as high as possible, watch and socialize with it until you get the option to adopt it. The option will be greyed out if you already have the max number of pet (the max number is 6). Click that and he/she should accept saying " You have proved to be a friend to all animals, i will follow wherever you lead."

   Find the cloud.

   Click Ctrl shift C at the same time. A box should appear at the top. Type in testingcheatsenabled true.

   Shift click on the unicorn. You will be able to click on the unicorn to add to active family. The unicorn is now yours and can be bred from.

   Get the wild horse and your tame horse so close together it looks like their necks are glued together.

   Go to the Sim's profile (the Sim that came along too). Click just between the two horse skins.

   Wait for a box to pop up in the right top corner of your screen. It will have a dog and cat in blue on it with a writing place.

   Type in Unicorn in the box.

   Your "already adopted" horse should change into a "already adopted" unicorn.

  Yes, you can, I found them mostly around the waterfalls and near abandoned lots.

  Yes it is. Although breeding a unicorn with a regular horse will only have a 50% chance of the new horse to be a unicorn.

• Unicorns are the fastest creatures of all which means that they always win race competition (almost always).

• A bad unicorn is not foretold by coat colour. A bad unicorn (aggressive, etc) is less likely to accept an invite to a household, but most of them are good. About 18 out of 20 tend to be good unicorns.

• You will always find wild unicorns hanging around wild horses.

• Unicorns start off with 1-3 traits (if adopted), one of which is always 'brave'.

• The same unicorn will stay in your town until you adopt it.

• In the wild there are only Grey, Black and white unicorns. Their horns are the same colour as the coat. You can tell the difference between a male and a female because males have beards and a lion type tail - once adopted you can change whether they have a lion tail or not, a bread or not, horn colour and all the other normal things in edit saddle mode. When they stand still a small bush grows by their left leg (when looking from the front) which blow away in the wind. Male unicorns are more common than females.

• Unicorns will not flee from you like normal wild horses. You do not need to be level 8 riding skill, like with wild horses, to adopt a unicorn.

• Breeding: Breed the unicorn like a normal horse. Here are the outcomes: Horse + Unicorn = 50% chance it will be a unicorn foal. Half-breed unicorn foal don't grow up to have level 10 r + j skill. Unicorn + Unicorn = 99% it will be a unicorn foal. No unicorn foal, Half-breed or purebred, have powers while in the foal stage.

• When unicorns bless plants (they will if near one), they grow one stage. If they curse, the plants instantly die.

• When using powers their eyes and horn glow: Ignite = orange, curse = red, extinguish = blue, teleport = White/green, Bless = green/white.

• Unicorns sometimes get a strange mood let at night about drawing more power from the moon.

• Unicorns have a unicorn-only pose, they put one of their front legs up and whinnies.

• You cannot sell, offer your unicorn as a stud or a mare at the equestrian center or put them up for adoption - to get rid of them you have to click 'return to the wild' on the menu but, you will never see him/her again.

• When a unicorn drinks, eats or graze a rainbow will sprout from their horn. Their coat glows and glows more in the dark.

• Riding around town will give a lot of Sims + pets the 'Saw a unicorn' memory.

• You can have a family of up to 10 members, but you can only have 8 Sims or 6 pets (so you could have 7 Sims and 3 pets, up to you).

• You can sell a foal that was bred by U + H if it turned out to be a normal foal.

• Sometimes a female unicorn foal, when they grow up, can get a beard off their dad––a female with a beard!

• Adopting unicorn will result in the 'Adopted a unicorn!' memory from the Sim and the 'Got adopted!' memory for the unicorn.

• Unicorns have a magical sparkly trail while in gallop (foals do too).
